Staff members of eck*cellent IT GmbH develop interfaces between hardware, graphical display and the basic functions of EPS logic. With the help of a client/server architecture, which has been implemented with an Apache-Tomcat-Server, checks can be conducted via the Internet/Intranet.

Development of a quality module for FIS
Based on FIS an international team developed since the end of 1998 the quality module FIS-Q (today electronic quality system). It enables all departments involved in the production process to be constantly informed about the quality of the manufactured vehicles and relate deviations from the quality standard to the originator.

Development of a system for crash test management
The purpose of the system is the preparation and analyse of crash tests. The data are stored in an Oracle database. Different dialogues are expanded, adjusted respectively newly developed.

Development of a system for the interpretation and static analyse of CAN measurements
Development of user interfaces for the interpretation and static analyse of CAN messages. The program allows analysing CAN measurements offline, from vehicle testing or laboratory.

Development of a system for monitoring multimedia-based components in vehicles
Testing stations for monitoring the operability of mobile phones (GSM), radio (FM-Tuner), television and GPS are being developed. In order to being able to check the devices, artificial surroundings, permitting the monitoring, have to be created.

Creation of a software store for test vehicles
The project task is the design, specification and implementation of an IT infrastructure for the worldwide provision of automotive-based data for flashing, parametrising and programming of control units within test vehicles.

Upgrading of an administration system for engine test stations
It is about a comprehensive system for the creation and administration of patterns for engine test stations. The user interface displays the front end with which the user can assemble the test patterns.

Development of software components for the introduction of SAP R/3
Cooperation in a project team for the introduction of SAP R/3 in the areas of materials logistics, production planning and control as well as warehouse management.
Phone invoicing online
An online portal has been created for the monthly phone invoicing of the delivery centre of a car manufacturer. The data are automatically imported from the landline unit as well as the digital mobile phone invoices. Every employee receives his individual calls online for marking (private/official).

Training and networking plan for the test and assembly optimisation electrics/electronics
A standardised systems engineering has been developed for a big German car manufacturer based on two pilot projects for test and assembly optimisation. A training and networking plan as well as the corresponding instruction material enable other plants to optimise their test and assembly processes on a simultaneous and autonomous basis.

Maintenance and enhancement of the production, information and control systems
The FIS system has to be maintained and enhanced software-sided in the production of VW plants worldwide. The tasks include the system monitoring, computer parametrising, testing of new hardware and quickest possible removal of malfunctions.
The project provides PC users the opportunity to complete tutorials with WBT (Web Based Training) at their one workstation. The Internet platform is the Internet Information Server as well as the SQL-Server from Microsoft.

The linkage of PDM-Systems Windchill with development tools already in use created a system (data management for the development of control units) which coordinates and supports the development and application of control units software.
